Cleaning services for your stay
At Ukio, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Below, you’ll find helpful tips and information to keep your home fresh and tidy throughout your stay.
How does cleaning work?
In Paris, guests must arrange their own cleaning services, but we can recommend third-party options such as WeCasa. If you have access to your Guest Portal, you can also find this information there for added convenience
How do I request additional cleaning?
WeCasa offers a variety of home services, including cleaning and massage sessions. All services can be booked directly on their website.
Ukio recommends taking precautions with valuable objects even when using our trusted cleaning service.
Plants care
Plants add a special touch to each of our homes. A little care goes a long way!
Indoor plants
They are in self-watering pots with a water level indicator. Please refill weekly between the two red lines after removing the lid.
Outdoor plants
They operate with self-irrigation systems, so no need to worry about watering them.
Cactus
They need to be watered once a month.
How to manage your waste
At Ukio, we support sustainable practices and believe in the importance of recycling. This section will guide you through everything you need to know about recycling in Paris, from sorting your waste to finding local recycling services. Together, we can make a positive impact!
You’ll find the trash bin in the kitchen. When it’s full, simply take it downstairs or to the nearest street bin. For more tips on waste disposal in your area, check your Guest Portal for additional guidance.
Waste Sorting and Disposal in Paris
In Paris, waste is sorted into specific bins: yellow for recyclables (plastic, paper, cardboard), green for general waste, and white for glass. Collection schedules vary by district, so check the local calendar. Dispose of large items at designated collection points or request a pickup through the city’s waste services.
